RoSPA Advanced Drivers And Riders


	RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Riders is part of a Registered Charity dedicated to improving road safety through advanced driving instruction provided by unpaid volunteers, who have achieved a Silver or Gold grade in the advanced test.
Practical guidance is available free by simply joining the group as an Associate-member and being assigned to a Tutor who will provide whatever guidance is required to ultimately pass the RoSPA advanced test and achieve a good grade.


		Tutoring is available to both car drivers and motorcyclists and is free, (apart from the motorcyclists making a small contribution towards the costs incurred by the Tutor for using His or Her own machine.) Guidance is based on the Police method of driving and riding as defined in "Roadcraft" and you will be guided through all aspects including observation, planning, bends, correct use of acceleration and brakes, and many other elements of driving and riding. Tests are graded Gold, Silver or Bronze and the Gold having been likened to the Police Class 1 without the high speed pursuit element.
