What is Advanced Driving? Advanced driving is a way forward to improve the skill and safety of your driving so that you can make the best use of road and traffic conditions. Driving safety and driving skill are aspects of the same ability--the ability to control the position and speed of your vehicle relative to everything else on the road. Advanced driving aims to help you improve your skills by increasing your awareness of the range of factors that affect your driving--your own capabilities, the characteristics of your vehicle, and the road and traffic conditions. Advanced driving is based on Roadcraft the handbook for police drivers undertaking police driver training. It is recognised worldwide as the benchmark on which all other methods of instruction is measured against. All of our Tutors have achieved RoSPA Silver or Gold standard. RoSPA Gold is the highest award a driver can obtain in civilian life and are fully trained to assess your own level and match your existing skills to a level of tuition best suited to you.
