RoADAR Northeast
is one of 50 groups throughout the country, run by a dedicated
team of members committed to passing on their skills to all associate
members.
We have a core of Driving and Riding Tutors, who have all achieved the high
standards demanded by RoSPA to provide their services free* to guide
associates towards attaining a high grade within the system.
All guidance is based around ‘Roadcraft’: The essential the
Police Drivers’ Handbook & The Police Riders’ handbook to
better motorcycling. Tests are carried out by RoSPA appointed Examiners who
are serving or retired Police Officers, usually Police Driving / Riding
Instructors or Examiners.
Tutors donate their time free* to associate members for practical sessions,
and are unlimited until you are ready for your test.
We meet on the third Tuesday of every month at Park Farm Hotel & Country
Club, Banesley Lane,
Ravensworth and usually have a speaker to give a talk on interesting and
associated topics.
We have a thriving motorcycle section which has a well supported social
section with regular ride outs. For further details see the Motorcycle page.
Why not take the first step towards improving your driving and / or riding
skills by joining us and have an initial assessment made of your driving /
riding, you will be surprised as to how easy it can be.
